Fireflies are small white glowing insects in Bugdom that appear in Level 8.

Don't be fooled by their small cute appearance. They are an actual threat and come in large numbers. They can carry you off to a place where you could get killed; they will either dip you into a toxic lake, resulting in an instant death, or drop you near a large number of fire breathing ants, which can be avoided by simply escaping from them.
- It is impossible to attack them without using Buddy Bug, since they are always flying.
- They can only be defeated by using a Buddy Bug. However, because they come in numbers, using a Buddy Bug can be a waste.
- Avoid them as much as you can. If you come near a firefly, you will trigger it to pick you up. Even if you alert the firefly and try escape from, it is rendered futile, as they can fly and catch up with you at high speeds.
